European Artistic Crafts Days
For the second successive year, Malta will be participating in the European Artistic Crafts Days (EACD), which this year will take place between April 2nd and 7th.
Under the theme “Little Fingers, Expert Hands”, this year’s initiative aims to encourage the general public – especially the younger generations – to participate in workshops with local artisans, as well as to learn more about a craft by visiting artisans’ workshops and witnessing the unfolding of their creativity as they create handmade products.

In order to assist in the promotion of these workshops and demonstrations, the Malta Crafts Foundation has also created an interactive online map to provide information on the location of artisans who are taking part in the EACD. The interactive map provides a clear indication of where the public can visit artisans and obtain further insight into their creative work and products.
Details of the availability of each artisan, as well as any workshop they may be organising are shown on the interactive online map. To book your workshop, get in touch directly with the respective artisans on the contact details provided.
The first international event dedicated to crafts, the EACD is coordinated by the French Savoir-Faire Institute. This major international event is dedicated to celebrating crafts, engaging an audience of more than 1 million people and hosting over 10,000 events in 24 countries.
