To highlight new opportunities and provide a platform for new connections, the Malta Crafts Foundation invited local artisans at its premises within the Ta’ Qali Artisan Village, spurring them to learn more about each other’s crafts and explore possible collaborations.

The activity was preceded by an information session on this year’s edition of the Premju Ġieħ l-Artiġjanat Malti with the aim of supporting and guiding artisans interested in submitting their application, which the Malta Crafts Foundation will also be following up with a dedicated workshop focusing on the Category 2 collaborative project proposals on Saturday, February 3rd at 09:30h.

The event, which was supported by the World Crafts Council Europe (WCCE) and the European Union (through the Creative Europe Programme), also provided the Foundation with an opportunity to gather the artisans’ feedback on its past initiatives, as well as provide an overview of those that are in the pipeline.
