With the aim of assisting artisans to gain a stronger hold on the financial aspects of their business, the Malta Crafts Foundation organised training on Friday on a financial modelling methodology that is specifically geared towards the complexity of creative businesses.

The training was provided by Gill Thewlis and Ellen O’Hara from ModFin Systems Ltd, a UK-based organisation specialised in supporting creative businesses, and will be followed by one-to-one sessions on Saturday during which the participating artisans will have the opportunity to delve deeper and get consultation about their own, specific challenges.

Organised within the framework of the Malta SME Week, the training was also supported by the World Crafts Council Europe and co-funded by the European Union.
