The final episode of our first Meet the Artisans season was yet another hit, and leaves us all looking forward to the next season!
Greeted by Joan Haber and her team at Alka Ceramics, located within the Ta’ Qali Artisan Village, participants were given an overview of the techniques used for clay modelling and particularly the clay throwing technique on the wheel, before then proceeding to roll up their sleeves and let their creativity flow to create something themselves.
Whilst taking the opportunity to thank all the artisans who hosted us throughout the first year of this initiative aimed at bringing the public closer to crafts, as well as all the participants who were eager to participate in as many sessions as they could, we encourage you to keep following us as we’ll soon be announcing details for the second season of Meet the Artisans!
