The beautiful creations crafted by our local artisans are treasures in themselves, and a treasure hunt for schoolchildren around the Ta’ Qali Artisan Village thus seemed apt to educate them about the hidden gems one can find in the artisans’ workshops and introduce them to the crafts skills.
A group of children from St Edward’s College were the first to experience this new initiative from the Malta Crafts Foundation, but we’ve already got more lined up in the coming months, including for corporate or team-building events! Besides meeting various artisans, the schoolchildren also got their hands dirty during a pottery class at one of the artisans.
