With the countryside blooming in spring, the timing was perfect for a visit to local honey producer Charles Zammit, who gave an overview of the processes applied to collect honey and beeswax.
The products are synonymous with Malta – with the very name of our country originating from the Greek word “meli”, meaning “honey” – and the processes once again piqued our participants’ interest.
