The Malta Crafts Foundation teamed up with The Edward de Bono Institute for Creative Thinking & Innovation within the University of Malta and the Valletta Design Cluster to organise the Creativity and Innovation Days, a series of talks and workshops aimed at highlighting the innovation that creatives in Malta implement in their day to day.

The event was held within the framework of the World Creativity and Innovation Week, which is celebrated annually around World Creativity and Innovation Day on April 21st,

The jam-packed programme of activities comprised workshops on traditional weaving, Maltese tile design, and laser-cut objects; sessions to discuss and taste artisanal wine, and honey; a demonstration on glass mosaic; as well as talks on Innovative Green Businesses, the Urban Fabric Project with which Malta is being represented at the London Design Biennale, and The Golden Glitch.
