The manner in which natural stones such as minerals, gems, and fossils are handcrafted and transformed into semi-precious jewellery and decorations was described by local artisan Reuben Schembri during the first session of Meet the Artisans of the year.

The session – which was held at his workshop, Malta Stone, within the Ta’ Qali Artisan Village – was once again very intriguing for participants, who also had their Artisan Passports stamped at the end of the session.
