The Malta Crafts Foundation is offering its assistance to local artisans interested in applying for the WORTH II Partnership Project, through which selected projects can benefit from between €10,000 to €20,000 in funding, and up to an additional €40,000 in marketing, training, mentoring, professional links, and visibility opportunities.

Funded by the COSME Programme of the European Union, the WORTH II Partnership Project creates and supports transnational collaborations between designers, creative people, manufacturing enterprises (SMEs), crafters/makers, and technology firms looking to develop design-driven and innovative products.

WORTH Partnership Project II is the second edition of the programme. In its first edition, 152 transnational partnerships were selected between 2017-2020, involving 349 partners from 34 EU-COSME countries. Maltese filigree artisan Nicholas Magro was among the beneficiaries of this programme.
