The Malta Crafts Foundation will be hosting the World Crafts Council Europe (WCCE) General Assembly between July 4th and 5th, and the WCCE Annual Conference on July 6th.

While the General Assembly will be open for the WCCE delegates, the Annual Conference will be of particular interest even to local artisans. Entitled CRAFTING THE FUTURE: New Skills & Opportunities for Crafts, the Conference will align itself with the EU’s theme – 2023 European Year for Skills, and will bring together European speakers specialised in this field. The event will draw attention to the landscape and importance of skills, in a time of rapid development and change.

We encourage you to join us, either in person or online via Zoom, to obtain a holistic outlook, from our European speakers, on the challenges being faced by all artisans, along with the opportunities that the digital revolution is creating.
