NEXT Transnational Meeting
The Malta Crafts Foundation will be hosting the closing transnational meeting of NEXT – Young NEETs shaping Expectations for the Future of Europe, an EU initiative that, over the past months, has seen it connect with organisations and communities from eight European countries in a shared effort to empower youths.
Taking place between November 3rd and 6th, this final meeting will explore how cultural heritage can serve as a foundation for a common future, and as a source of inspiration and opportunity for youth entrepreneurship.
As part of the programme, a special session is being held on November 5th at the Salini Resort in St Paul’s Bay, where local artisans and young people are invited to join this international exchange and contribute their voices, ideas, and creativity to the discussion.
Are you a young person eager to meet peers from across eight European countries, dive into discussions and hands-on workshops on culture, identity, and opportunity, and discover how to turn creative ideas into meaningful initiatives? Register now to join the session between 08:45h and 14:30h, through this link.
Are you a local artisan passionate about sharing your craft and perspective with peers from across Europe, exploring collaboration and funding possibilities, and exchanging skills and ideas that bridge tradition and innovation? Register now to join the session between 10:30h and 14:30h, through this link.
This event, which is co-funded by the EU through the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) Programme, promises to be a vibrant space for learning, connection, and collaboration – a celebration of culture, creativity, and community that strengthens the bridge between heritage and the next generation.
