Celebrate love in all its forms this Valentine’s Day!

This year, mark Valentine’s Day by creating something truly meaningful with your loved ones — whether that’s a partner, family members, or a group of friends. After all, love comes in many forms!

On Saturday, February 14th, Express Your Love through a series of hands-on artisanal workshops held at both the Ta’ Qali Artisan Village and the Ta’ Dbieġi Artisan Village. Guided by master artisans, participants will have the opportunity to craft a unique, handmade piece that becomes a lasting expression of care, creativity, and shared experience.

Whether you’re celebrating romance, friendship, or family bonds, these workshops offer a chance to slow down, create together, and take home something made with heart!

Ta’ Dbieġi Artisan Village, Gozo

• • Macramé for Adults – Alda Bugeja

Create a macramé heart-shaped ornament and a keychain. The fee of €40 per couple includes guidance from master artisan Alda Bugeja, as well as all materials used. A glass of Prosecco per person, along with some chocolates, is included in the workshop price.

• • Macramé for Children – Alda Bugeja

Create a macramé heart-shaped ornament. The fee of €15 per child includes guidance from master artisan Alda Bugeja, as well as all materials used, along with some chocolates.

• • Traditional Maltese Filigree Workshop – George Farrugia

Create a heart-shaped pendant using traditional Maltese filigree techniques. At €60 per couple, this workshop includes guidance from a master artisan, the cost of materials, the pendant, and a silver chain. A glass of Prosecco per person, along with some chocolates, is also included in the workshop price.

• • Wheel-throwing Pottery Workshop – Gozo Pottery Barn

Enjoy a romantic experience by participating in a wheel-throwing pottery workshop. At €95 per couple, this experience includes guidance from a master artisan, use of equipment, materials, and firing of the object (which will be available for collection at a later date). A glass of Prosecco per person, along with some chocolates, is included in the workshop price.

• • Hand-building Pottery Workshop – Gozo Pottery Barn

Enjoy a romantic experience by participating in a hand-building pottery workshop, where you can create love-themed pottery objects. At €95 per couple, this experience includes guidance from a master artisan, materials, and firing of the object (which will be available for collection at a later date). A glass of Prosecco per person, along with some chocolates, is included in the workshop price.

• • Personalised Scent Workshop – The Perfume Studio

Learn about the products created and the ingredients used in artisanal perfumes and candles, and create your own personalised scent. This workshop, running between 60 and 90 minutes, costs €150 per couple and includes a 50 ml eau de parfum, along with a handbag spray in a leather pouch. A glass of Prosecco per person, along with some chocolates, is included in the workshop price.

• • Wheel-throwing Pottery Workshop – Alka Ceramics

Enjoy a romantic experience by participating in a wheel-throwing pottery workshop. At €60 per couple, this one-hour workshop includes guidance from experienced artisans, materials, and firing of the object (which will be available for collection at a later date). A glass of Prosecco per person, along with some chocolates, is included in the workshop price.

• • Traditional Maltese Filigree Workshop – L-Arġentier

Create a heart-shaped pendant while learning traditional Maltese filigree techniques. At €50 per couple, this workshop includes guidance on how to create your own heart pendant, which you get to keep, as well as the cost of materials used and a chain. A glass of Prosecco per person, along with some chocolates, is included in the workshop price.

• • Traditional Weaving Workshop – Antoine Vella

Try your hands at a traditional Maltese loom and weave your own carpet together during this 2 hour workshop. At €40 per couple, this workshop includes guidance on the weaving process, the cost of materials for the carpet which you get to keep, and a glass of Prosecco per person along with some chocolates.

• • Wood Painting Workshop – Scic Crafts Studio

Participate in a cosy and creative workshop during which you will paint a wooden heart-shaped ornament. The fee of €25 per couple includes all materials used, a glass of Prosecco per person, and some chocolates.
