European Artistic Crafts Days
For the third consecutive year, Malta will be participating in the European Artistic Crafts Days (EACD), which this year will take place between March 31st and April 6th.
Under the theme “The Golden Thread”, this year’s initiative is dedicated to the links that connect crafts to other sectors and to their territory. Across all Europe, the general public is encouraged to visit local artisans as they open the doors to their studios to learn more about their craft and even take part in wokrshops with the artisans.

In order to assist in the promotion of these workshops and demonstrations, the Malta Crafts Foundation has also created an interactive online map to provide information on the location of artisans who are taking part in the EACD. The interactive map provides a clear indication of where the public can visit artisans and obtain further insight into their creative work and products.
Details of the availability of each artisan, as well as any workshop they may be organising are shown on the interactive online map. To book your workshop, get in touch directly with the respective artisans on the contact details provided.
The first international event dedicated to crafts, the EACD is coordinated by the French Savoir-Faire Institute and the European Crafts Alliance. This major international event is dedicated to celebrating crafts, and last year engaged more than 1 million people in over 10,000 events spread across 28 particapting countries.
