What can be created in just 24 hours when talent, skill, and imagination collide?

The next edition of the designMT Fashion Jam will take place between March 14 and 15, 2026, at the Valletta Design Cluster, once again bringing together local artisans, designers, fashion enthusiasts, and fashion students for an intensive collaborative experience.

Starting at noon and continuing through to noon the following day, participants will be split into teams to develop a concept, mood board, and sample based on a shared theme revealed on the day.

Before the creative marathon begins, participants will attend a lecture by Marie Douchet, Fashion Design Teacher at LISAA Mode Paris, offering international insight into contemporary fashion design and practice. Located in Paris’ Latin Quarter, LISAA Mode Paris is internationally recognised for its comprehensive training in fashion design, textile development, brand creation, and fashion business.

Selected projects will then be further developed and featured as part of this year’s designMT programme.

The event is being organised by the Malta Crafts Foundation, in collaboration with MCAST, the Chamber of Fashion Malta Foundation, and the Valletta Design Cluster.
