Fresh from the celebrations of this year’s edition of Premju Ġieħ l-Artiġjanat Malti, we crossed over to Gozo for our latest Meet the Artisans session with Katrin Formosa at the Gozo Pottery Barn.
In the welcoming surroundings of her workshop within the Ta’ Dbiegi Artisan Village, Katrin shared insights into the various stages of the pottery-making process, demonstrating how simple clay can be transformed into functional and decorative pieces through skill, patience, and creativity.
Participants enjoyed the opportunity to engage closely with both the artisan and her craft, gaining a deeper appreciation for the artistry behind every handmade ceramic piece.
