European Commissioner Glenn Micallef, Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport, visited the offices of the Malta Crafts Foundation to learn more about the local artisanal sector, as well as the Foundation’s work and ongoing initiatives.

During the visit, he met with the Foundation’s team, led by CEO Elton Micallef, and discussed the role of craftsmanship in supporting culture, creativity, and sustainable enterprise.

While at the Ta’ Qali Artisan Village, Commissioner Micallef also visited the newly opened outlet, Mani, where he met the artisans behind the brand, as well as other local artisans who presented their work and shared insights into their creative processes.
