To open our new season of Meet the Artisans, we visited leather crafter Keith J. Caruana at his workshop in Rabat, where he welcomed us with the same passion and energy he pours into his craft.
From selecting the right hide to the final stitch, Keith shared the techniques, traditions, and quiet satisfaction that shape his work – a true reflection of the artistry that defines Malta’s makers.
We also distributed the new Artisan Passports for this year and stamped them for the first session. As always, the participant who collects the most stamps by the end of the series will receive a fantastic prize!
