The Malta Crafts Foundation visited the MCAST Institute for the Creative Arts in Mosta and met with students following the journalism course, giving them an overview of the Foundation’s initiatives to promote and support the artisan sector, as well as the various opportunities that the sector offers particularly for those interested in pursuing a creative career.
Among the initiatives that were highlighted was the Foundation’s participation in the “NEXT – Young NEETs shaping EXpectations for The future of Europe” project. A fruitful discussion was also held with the students on the topics of young people and employment in Malta, gender (in)equality, and the effects of war on European young generations.
