As part of The Duke of Edinburgh’s official programme for his visit to Malta, the Malta Crafts Foundation coordinated a series of workshops with local artisans for youths who are taking part in The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.

The Award is a non-formal education and learning framework taking place in more than 120 countries for youths aged between 14 to 24-year-olds, who are assisted in developing their individual interests, universal skills, and life ambitions.

The Award is organised by The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, an international charity supporting young people to find their purpose, place, and passion in the world, which locally is based in Mrieħel.
