Three Maltese artisans – Nico Conti, Tess Ebonie Sammut, and Lucentini – are being assisted by the Malta Crafts Foundation to showcase their creations at the Ceramic at the Palace: Contemporary Visions on the European High Artistic Craftsmanship exhibition currently being held at the Palazzo del Podestà in Faenza, Italy.

The exhibition is organised by the European Route of Ceramics network – in which the Foundation is also a member – and showcases over one hundred ceramic pieces created by master ceramists coming from the 27 countries members of the network.

Its timing coincides with the General Assembly of the European Route of Ceramics, as well as with the Argilia Italia International Ceramics Festival and Market-Fair: a long weekend dedicated to ceramics in Faenza with several ceramic shows and live performances, including open-air firings, demonstrations, workshops, and activities for kids.

During the General Assembly delegates of the European Route of Ceramics also had the opportunity to discuss ongoing works, upcoming projects, as well as opportunities for ceramists living in the countries forming part of the network.
