The first series of beginner courses offered by the Malta Crafts Foundation in ceramics, filigree, macramé, and weaving commenced over the past weeks. Master artisans, namely Joan Haber along with the ceramists at Alka Ceramics, Kevin Attard, and Alda Bugeja are working with different sets of enthusiastic students, all eager to learn more about some of our traditional crafts.
This first call for applications, which was intended as a pilot project, had an overwhelming response and will thus be followed up with another round in due course – so make sure you keep following us to be informed when the next call is out!
